Bundala National Park – Bird Watching
Bundala National Park is an important habitat for migratory waterbirds and a RAMSARwetland site. It is a must-visit location for birdwatchers, especially when migratory birds are present.Park’s large wetland habitat, which includes lagoons, salt pans, marshes, and scrublands, is its most notable characteristic. A large range of bird species are drawn to this diversified habitat. In the park, more than 200 different bird species have been identified.
