Day 01
Arrival / Negombo (Check in to the hotel & relax)
Welcome to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, you'll be greeted by our friendly guide who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Negombo. After settling in, take some time to relax by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Feel the gentle sea breeze and let the waves soothe your soul. In the evening, you can explore the bustling streets of Negombo, known for its vibrant fish market and colonial charm. Try some mouthwatering seafood delicacies and get a taste of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.
Day 02
Negombo (city tour) / Pinnawala / Sigiriya
Get ready for an exciting day ahead! After a scrumptious breakfast, embark on a city tour of Negombo. Visit the iconic Dutch Canal, which showcases the town's rich colonial heritage. Stroll through the lively fish market and witness the local fishermen bringing in their catch of the day. Later, we'll head to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which houses about 80-100 elephants, where you can witness adorable baby elephants being bottle-fed and splashing around in the river. It's a heartwarming experience that you won't forget! After spending time with these gentle giants, we'll proceed to Sigiriya, where you'll be staying for the night.
Day 03
Climb Sigiriya in the morning / Afternoon visit Polonnaruwa / return to Sigiriya for overnight
Rise and shine! Today, we'll conquer the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. As the sun rises, we'll begin the ascent, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape from the top. Marvel at the ancient ruins and the famous Sigiriya frescoes, a true testament to the island's rich history. After descending, we'll journey to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the well-preserved archaeological wonders, including the Gal Vihara statues and the Royal Palace complex. The tales of a bygone era will come to life as you wander through the ancient streets. In the evening, we'll return to Sigiriya for a peaceful night's rest.
Day 04
Visit Anuradhapura / Return to Habarana for a Jeep Safari at Minneriya in the afternoon
Today's adventure takes us to Anuradhapura, another historical gem of Sri Lanka. This ancient capital city boasts stunning stupas and sacred Buddhist sites. Witness the awe-inspiring Sri Maha Bodhi tree, believed to be the oldest historically authenticated tree in the world, and the grand Ruwanwelisaya stupa. As the day unfolds, we'll return to Habarana for a thrilling Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park. After an exhilarating day, we'll head back to Sigiriya for a well-deserved rest.
Day 05
Leave for Kandy en route visit Dambulla Cave Temple & a Spice Garden
It's the final day of our journey together. After breakfast, we'll bid farewell to Sigiriya and make our way back to Colombo, the vibrant capital of Sri Lanka. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore Colombo's bustling streets and indulge in last-minute shopping for souvenirs. Our guide will then transfer you to the airport, where you'll depart with cherished memories of an unforgettable Sri Lankan adventure.
Day 06
City tour of Kandy including a visit to the Kandy Temple / Visit Peradeniya / do some shopping (Gems / Bathiks / Wood Carvings / Silk), cultural show
Today's itinerary begins with a fascinating city tour of Kandy, a city rich in history and culture. Our first stop is the renowned Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), where you can witness the sacred relic of the Buddha's tooth. Immerse yourself in the serene ambiance and observe the traditional rituals performed by devoted pilgrims.

Next, we'll visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, a paradise of exotic flora. Stroll through the enchanting gardens, which showcase a diverse collection of tropical plants and colorful blooms.

After that, we'll indulge in some shopping in Kandy. Explore the local markets and galleries to find exquisite gems, traditional batiks, intricately crafted wood carvings, and luxurious silk products. These make for wonderful souvenirs and mementos to take back home.

Day 07
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya / visit a Tea Factory & Plantation / city tour of Nuwara Eliya
Today, we leave Kandy and embark on a scenic drive to the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as "Little England" due to its colonial-era charm. On our way, we'll make a stop at a Tea Factory & Plantation. Learn about the process of tea production and savor some of the finest Ceylon tea. The lush tea estates surrounding you will offer stunning photo opportunities.

Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, we'll embark on a city tour. Visit the iconic Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy a leisurely boat ride or a peaceful stroll along the shores. Explore the well-manicured Victoria Park, a serene oasis in the heart of the town.
Day 08
Visit Horton Plains this morning / Afternoon free to roam around in Nuwara Eliya
Early in the morning, we'll head to the breathtaking Horton Plains National Park. Embark on a picturesque hike through misty landscapes, which leads to the dramatic viewpoint known as "World's End." Here, you'll be rewarded with awe-inspiring views of the sheer cliff dropping off to the valley below. The picturesque Baker's Falls is another highlight of the trek.

In the afternoon, you have free time to explore Nuwara Eliya at your own pace. You can take a leisurely walk around the town, visit local markets, or simply relax in the serene surroundings of your hotel.
Day 09
Take a train ride to Ella / Explore Ella
Today, we'll embark on one of the most scenic train journeys in the world as we travel from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. Sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views of tea plantations, mist-covered hills, and cascading waterfalls from the comfort of the train. The journey itself is an unforgettable experience!

Upon reaching Ella, you'll have the opportunity to explore this charming hill town. Ella is known for its stunning viewpoints, such as Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak. Hike to one of these vantage points and be rewarded with panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.

As your journey in Sri Lanka comes to an end, you can either depart from Ella or continue your adventure in this beautiful country.
Day 10
Morning leave for Yala. Enjoy a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park in the afternoon
Today, we bid farewell to Ella and headed to Yala. In the morning, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka's premier wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a thrilling Jeep safari in the afternoon. Keep your camera ready as we venture into the wilderness in search of majestic elephants, elusive leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of other wildlife. Yala's diverse ecosystem and natural beauty make it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers.
Day 11, 12& 13
Morning leave for Galle. Beach stay in Galle

Excursion 01: Madhu River Boat Ride
Today, we'll embark on a scenic boat ride along the Madhu River. Glide through the mangrove-fringed river and admire the lush greenery and abundant birdlife. The serene surroundings offer a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. You may spot water monitors, monkeys, and various bird species during the boat ride.
Day 13
Excursion 02: Visit a Turtle Farm & Excursion 03: Water Sports on Bentota River
In the morning, we'll visit a turtle farm, where you can learn about Sri Lanka's efforts to conserve and protect these endangered marine creatures. Witness adorable baby turtles being nurtured before they are released into the sea.

Later, we'll head to Bentota, known for its water sports. Indulge in thrilling activities such as jet skiing, banana boat rides, or tube rides on the Bentota River. It's a fantastic way to add some adrenaline-pumping adventures to your beach stay.
Day 14
Galle / Departure (en route visit Colombo and enjoy a city tour IF time permits)
On our last day, we'll explore the historic city of Galle. Walk through the cobbled streets of Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire the well-preserved colonial architecture. Visit the Dutch Reformed Church and other cultural landmarks within the fort.

If time permits, we'll make a stop in Colombo for a city tour, where you can see modern skyscrapers alongside colonial-era buildings. Visit the Independence Square, Galle Face Green, and the vibrant Pettah Market.

After the city tour, we'll proceed to Colombo International Airport for your departure, taking with you cherished memories of the diverse and enchanting experiences in Sri Lanka.
